Lydia graduated as a Physiotherapist in the UK in 2003 and qualified as a Certified Clinical Pilates Instructor in 2009.

Lydia also has a Sports science degree and worked in the fitness industry for 3 years prior to embarking on her Physio career.

Her physio career has involved a combination of private practise, hospital based work specialising in trauma and orthopaedics and 6 seasons working with rugby league teams.

Since working as a physio in NZ Lydia has attended various postgraduate courses including a series run by the NZ Manipulative Physiotherapy Association.

Lydia is a manual therapist who is able to treat presenting symptoms but also strives to identify any underlying cause or dysfunction including postural in order to correct this through rehabilitation and core strengthening to reduce any risk of re-injury. The combination of her physio and pilates qualifications provide an excellent platform for her approach.

Lydia also utilises her Sports qualification and experience in the fitness industry when prescribing exercise and helping people with appropriate exercise selection to transition back to their normal exercise routine post-injury.
